Boy oh boy! What can I say, returning to work after a full 7 days of no work was rough! 4am really hurt my feelings this morning, not to mention it was raining. (Not complaining about the rain just the overall difficulty it can present when one must get up out of a very comfy bed snuggled up to a warm husband.) But I did it, believe it or not, yes it is possible. I really did feel a little hung over oddly enough...and I had nothing to drink. It was nice to return to work and find that people actually did miss me or at least notice I was gone for that matter. Say la Vivie!
You know I've began to notice that almost every woman I encounter is pregnant or has a new baby....Baby Fever is setting in, I can feel it....Ella needs a sister, or brother, or both...HA HA HA !! Boy September can not get here soon enough!
Bed time is rolling around, next item on the to do list...figure out how to post pictures!!

Hopping on the bandwagon
So here I am, joining the world of blogging. I am not sure how intresting it could be to read about the day to day clammerings of a small town girl and her family but since the Sisters are doing it I didn't want to be left out so here it goes. There are 3 of us total, Me the Mommy..(Mary), Bobby...my Wonderful Husband and Daddy to our beautiful daughter Ella...who turned 2 on the 11th and has fully embraced the 2 year old "tude". I find myself being told on a regular basis things like "No Mommy NOT NICE!"(attempts to hit me), usually followed by a "Get away Mommy, Get away!(stops her foot). The best, and I have to try not to laugh at times when this happens is 1. Mommy: "Ella, Mommy asked you not to climb on the coffee table..continues to do so....2. Ella this is your 2nd warning MOMMY SAID....DO NOT CLIMB ON THE COFFEE TABLE ( stated in a stern loving way then removes from table), 3. Ella, Mommy is going to count to 3 if you do not get away from the coffee table we are going to have a time out...(begin to count...ONE, TW)...Ella..Twwwooooo, Threeeeee...You time out Mommy! Boy oh boy...it is a good thing they do not come out that way...you have to work up the nerve and patience for that.
We just returned from a great vacation. A whole week at Carolina Beach, it was super wonderful even though Ella was up at 5 am almost every morning and she even puked on me one night...Let me tell you the smell of sour milk and gummies at 3am after a few cocktails...brought me close to puking. One piece of advice....47 miles off shore on a 27 ft fishing boat....very bad idea....unless you like to puke a lot. There is nothing more glamorous than hangin your head over the side of a boat 3 times and having not a darn thing to show for it! I didn't catch a thing!! Bobby caught a 2 big fish and nothing else worth talking about. I can find better ways to spend 100.00 smackers. The Beach was great, the pool was fantastic, and the food was very good...I can tell by the way my clothes fit...ugg. This means I really have to exercise a lot all week! OK, well that's enough for now, otherwise I might not have anything else to write about in the future. Let me know what you think. Until the next time, May the good Lord above be with you!
